In 2008 Coolcampervans is offering Classic VW Hire. This is not 'Dr Who', with Coolcampervans you can really go back in time.
Yes this is your opportunity to enjoy the most loved campervan in the world a classic V.W.
There are companies out there offering the new old style VW campers but beware this is not the real deal and the side loading door is on the wrong side, plus we have been informed that bits to often fall off! With Coolcampervans you are hiring a real 1970's campervan...........
Our VW' campervans all come with the Pop Top roof so you can stand up and have a good stretch in the morning whilst making a full English breakfast, go on treat yourself. We have two styles of campervan - a 2 berth or a 4 berth. The 2 berth can seat 4 persons but it only has space to sleep 2. The family 4 berth can sleep 4 people ideal 2 adults and 2 kids. It has a 'rock'n roll bed' (that pulls out from the rear) for the adults and 2 additional bunks in the pop up roof section. Both the 2 berth and the 4 berth come with a fridge, 2 ring gas cooker and grill, sink with running water, lots of storage and there is also an electric hook up facility. Your campervan will come with a TV and DVD PLUS a Playstation for those chilled nights in.
We are now offering our very own cool VW T25 (AKA the Wedge). This was our 1st campervan and because we are sentimental we kept it. It has to earn a living so it has had a refit and a re-spray and is now available for you to hire so you get a feel of the 80’s!
Our VW's are fitted with everything you will need, all you will need are your clothes, towel and a sleeping bag and we will provide the rest.
Our 3rd generation VW mechanic has lovingly restored our stunning VW's and the engines have been totally rebuilt so that you have peace of mind when you start on your journey. If you are looking top do a road trip our new motorhomes are for you. If you are looking to try life in the 70’s and want to stay local this is your chance!
This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle of the 1970's, yes it is basic but sometimes basic is good. If you want more we have our 2,4,5,6 and 7 berth campervans and motorhomes, but if you want real nostalgia hire one of our classic VWs! The above prices are per week, for bookings of more than a week
it is pro-rata per day, for example VW 2 berth is £325 per week divided
by seven days = £46.42 per day.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%
We are open every day except Saturday and Sunday, your camper MUST be
back before 10am and collection is between 2pm and 4pm.
