I have finally managed to quell the frantic post-holiday catch-up and
have found time to write to you.
We had a simply brilliant time and loved almost every minute of our tour around the country...except for the times when the kids were at each others' throats...and we saw so much that we most certainly would not have if we had not the camper. The 'sat nav' was an incredible wonder so please pass on our opinion if anyone is contemplating one.. never leave home without it. Whilst I know we brought our own from home, I would have no hesitation in spending the extra bit of money to hire one if necessary...now that I know what it is they do.

Hey there Coolcampervans, We hired a very cool Motorhome for the Glastonbury Festival this year and thank god we did! We have never seen so much mud and rain in our lives. We were the envy of all of our mates and I know that they have already booked with you for next year. As discussed we would like to book again now for next years Glastonbury, if we don't get tickets we are happy to lose our deposit because there is no way that we are being miserable in a wet muddy tent! Your prices attracted us to you and we were really surprised and very happy to find that our motorhome was in such lovely condition and everything worked! There is nothing like a nice hot shower at Glasto and your Motorhome gave us that!! We thank you Coolcampervans for not being greedy with your prices and for supplying great Motorhomes. We toured the main land, the Hebrides and the Orkneys and the camper took us everywhere, even on these wonderful very small and steep one-track roads. Everything went well without any problems. In 2005 we got soaked to the skin due to the changeable UK weather, yet we had a nice warm van to return to when the racing was over. In 2006, we had the opposite and the weather was overwhelmingly hot - but we had a van with a fridge full of cold beer to welcome us each evening! We would never go conventional camping again as now prefer the luxury of one of your campervans. You were both so friendly and went out of your way to ensure we had everything we needed for a long weekend and a great experience. The fact that we could always get hold of you on a mobile was reassuring too. We'll certainly be in touch for one of your campervans again for 2007 when the Moto-GP dates are released! Luckily I found www.coolcampervans.co.uk. They are professional, helpful and best of all human! I was a bit worried by the size of the van (Marie, I think she was called) when we picked it up but Simon's clear instructions stuck in my brain and I was happily cruising to Edinburgh within the hour. The van was not brand spanking new which was fantastic because I did not spend all my time worrying about what my two boys might damage (sorry Simon!!)! In the event they didn't damage anything because the van had passed the test of time. From searching online at what seemed like thousands of campervan hire companies all with prices that were in the 1200GBP per week cost. We came across Cool campervans, the prices where exceptionally lower than ALL the competitors and when you are coming into the UK from Australia with a really bad exchange rate, these are the prices we needed to see to fulfil a good time whilst in the UK. What we didn't expect was all the wonderful care, service and attention we received from Simon and Suzanne. They spent some time with us showing us where everything was in the van and how it all worked, they also gave us a map, ideas of cheap areas to camp and where really really helpful. We travelled quite extensively in the time that we where in the UK and the van we hired was just wonderful. We had a wonderful time impacted by the affordability of the van, it was also economical to run and more than comfortable to use and drive. Thankyou very much to Simon and Suzanne. We plan to use these guys again in a few years time when we spend some time in Scotland.
